Our Work
Northern Fire WoRx is capable of prescribing, lighting, mopping up, and fighting fire. We also restore and rehabilitate ecosystems after fire events. We are the only non-government fire crew with such a broad range of skills and abilities in Canada. Our certifications include Danger Tree Assessors (Wildfire), slashing crew, Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Enform chainsaw operators, and certification in wildland and prescribed fire. We are SAFE certified with the BC Forest Safety Council.
In order to safely perform in remote areas under challenging conditions, we have extensive equipment and safety gear, ranging from ignition devices and aircraft to drones and GIS analytical software. We also perform road access clearing and construct helipads.
